Where to get wings in Wake Forest: downtown, Retail Drive and more

Wings in Wake Forest are mostly a pub and pizza shop item. Three of the places on this list are downtown on Brooks Street, two more are on the Retail Drive and Northpark Drive strip off Capital Boulevard, and the rest are spread along South Main Street, Rogers Road and Gateway Commons. Buffalo Brothers is the one place that puts wings in its name next to pizza.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Wake Forest’s town limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026. OpenStreetMap tags almost no Wake Forest place for wings, so we added every place whose own site or menu lists wings at a Wake Forest address; Carolina Ale House and Schiano’s are confirmed by 2026 records in Wake County’s restaurant inspection data. The places

Buffalo Brothers started in the Buffalo, New York, area in 1997 and now runs Triangle restaurants, including one on Retail Drive. Its menu leads with wings and tenders beside pizza, and its site lists weekly trivia nights.

Carolina Ale House is the sports restaurant chain’s Northpark Drive location. Its website blocked our check, so we confirmed it through a Sept. 29, 2026, Wake County inspection record.

Domino’s on South White Street lists bone-in wings and boneless chicken with its pizza, for carryout and delivery.

Johnny’s Pizza on Capital Boulevard lists wings in its pizza bundles and as a wing order of its own on its ordering site.

Norse Brewing Company is a downtown brewery with a Scandinavian-inspired kitchen. Its food menu lists applewood smoke-brined wings with dry rubs such as lemon pepper and Old Bay, or sauces including honey sriracha and mild buffalo.

Over the Falls on South Brooks Street describes salads, sandwiches, burgers, pizza and wings, with dine-in and curbside takeout and a bar of 12 craft draft beers.

Paco’s Pizza on Rogers Road lists wings beside New York-style pizza, calzones and pasta, for pickup or delivery.

Pat Murnane’s Irish Pub on South Main Street lists wings with celery and carrots and a choice of sauces, including lemon pepper and Cajun. Norri Brothers Pizza runs a pizza menu from the same address.

Pizza Hut on Capital Boulevard lists wings with its pizza for delivery, carryout and dine-in.

Schiano’s Pizza Pasta Wings is in Gateway Commons. We found no website of its own; a July 14, 2026, Wake County inspection record confirms it.

Strike & Barrel is a downtown bowling and games venue with a kitchen and full bar. Its weekly specials include a Wednesday wing night.
